    Thanks for this post. What a great way to view friendships! I’ve also found that some friendships are more intense at different stages of life. There were the friends who were raising kids at the same time I was, the ones who were teaching alongside me, and the ones who grew into leadership positions at the same time. All of those shared experiences built lasting friendships…one of the best things in life!

    Truth but quite tough…
    But you are right about the two minutes friends…
    I just wonder if they can become “two days” friends and then keep on growing up through the Friendship scale…
    I guess they probably can change categories!,

  7. I’m going to have to chase down the reference to Jim Rohn. But I’m wondering if there isn’t also a much deeper category, two-lifetime-friends. Because there can be commitments which that important.
