Worst Case Scenario Mentality

Thinking of the worst thing that could happen and accepting that scenario as truth frees you up to be successful and work without fear failure. No longer to you have to be paralyzed by fear of rejection, losing good employees, bankruptcy, separation or even the fear of death. I am amazed at how much power and freedom it gives people when they emotionally digest and accept the absolute worst case scenario.

  1. Very true! So many times I state “the worst that can happen is XYZ” and that makes it so much easier to weigh the risk… And usually makes the path forward easier!

    • Good point. The worst that can happen with anything is I lose everything, everyone will hate me, and I will have to start over. What gives confidence is knowing you still have your skills and character. That can’t be taken away. The true worth of someone is not what they have. It’s what they have when all is taken away.

      Have a great day Kate.
